Poems by Altai artist, N. Chepokov
Now I rest by the campfire
Children and adults are very close
They were interested in the clouds
I look around - various creatures
It's very funny
I look and drink tea
* * *
The moon rises over the mountains
In the noisy houses, there is light in the windows
Spirits move quietly in this light
Peace
The drummer of the ancient "Kama" can be heard softly
* * *
Without haste, I wander wherever I want
There is much to see in the mountains
Various things
Funny and sad things
Claimed by no one
I wander and draw
* * *
It is a fairy tale and it is a fantasy
I know that it exists
The village in the moonlight by the lake
Somewhere in the mountains among the pine trees
r - f-f, I will rest in the shade of trees
The stream fills me
It is frightening
I will still reach my goal reach
At midday everything is beautiful and quiet.
