Mir Susne Hum / Shaman (Sculpture)

Shaman – embodiment of the spirit of Siberian peoples, an intermediary between gods, spirits and people. Within the shaman hovers his soul - bird of time and space - impartial destiny of every northerner. Shaman's clothes - ornamental, three-part model of the world, nine lines of the Lower World, Middle World - the forests, traces of animals and the same element ornaments turns into birds - this is the Upper World. Hands like wings, with one hand he holds a mallet, with the other hand a tambourine, portrayed on the largest patron of the north - world Mir-Susne-Hum The seventh son of Num-Torum, here depicten on his iron horse (before it got its 7 wings) and firebird on his chest.
